As for when exactly Alabama High School Football will kick off? It’ll take place at Gray Academy in Montgomery on Sept. 2, 2023. Gray Academy was completed in 2017 with plans to house nearly 1,000 students from across the state of Alabama beginning in 2021. The 892 space student housing complex is designed to provide an affordable living option for kids who otherwise would not have access to higher education at their respective schools.
